Important

Have there ever been times when you don’t feel like your important or valuable? A little over a month ago I joined a bible study from my church. Most of the members are over retirement age and it seems that they are more knowledgeable in the bible then I am. Whenever I try to answer a question it seems like it’s wrong or it’s not what they were looking for. A lot of times I just sit there and let the others talk because it’s better then making a fool of myself. It’s hard to feel important or valuable when you feel like your not that bright.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
 
- Romans 5:8 NKJV

God shows here that He believes we are all important and valuable. We are so much so that He sent His only Son to die on the cross for us. So if you ever feel like your not important just remember that our Father in Heaven knows that we are.

I challenge you this week to repeat Romans 5:8 to yourself whenever you don’t feel important or valuable.

God sees value in us even when we don’t see it in ourselves. We tend to look at our value in earthly standards while God looks at our value differently. When we say or do kind things to another that has value. When we help out at work, home, or in the community that has value. Your value is not measured by how much you make or how famous you are. God values us in the little things we do. They all add up to more than one big thing. I pray that we can all see our value each day and know that God values us.
