Thankful

"Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of Elohiym (God) in Mashiach Yeshua (Christ Jesus) concerning you."

- 1 Tasloniqiym (1 Thessalonians) 5:16-18 Cepher

Today most people in America gathered around the table with family and ate a big turkey dinner, than maybe watched a football game. While the holiday may be Thanksgiving the only thanking most might have done is that they didn’t overstuff themselves to much. While it’s nice to get together with family and spend time talking about life we need to remember to give thanks to Yah (Lord) and Yeshua (Jesus) for all that They have given us. Praying and thanking Them everyday will help your faith grow, your relationship with the Father and Son grow, and help your days be better. I have found that the days I pray and read my Bible go better and I have a better attitude than the days I just wake up and get at the secular stuff of life. I pray that we can all pray everyday and be in the Word everyday.

1 Chronicles 16:34

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."

-1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV

This coming Thursday is Thanksgiving in the US. While it’s a time where we get to be with family and enjoy some delicious food we should also remember to give thanks to God. He sent His only Son to die on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven. With this we will then be able to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. May we always be giving thanks to God for all the things He has done for us.

Thought Of The Day: 11/26/20

Happy Thanksgiving! This years Thanksgiving is definitely different then past Thanksgivings. In some states you are limited to the amount of people or families allowed in one household to celebrate. This leaves people to either celebrate small or on their own. Though these gatherings may have been reduced by our governors you can still be thankful for what you have.

Here are some things you can be thankful for:

  • God gives us grace and mercy even when we don’t deserve it
  • Jesus died on the cross for our sins
  • We still, at this time, have freedom of religion
  • God loves us
  • We will get to spend eternal life with Jesus and no one can take that away

So though things around us may be abnormal and crazy we still have reasons to be thankful.

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
